Guulf runs beside what you already have
One page for the question every course asks first · keep your current system as long as you like
Most courses already run something — a tee sheet at the counter, a point of sale at the till, or a paper book that has worked for thirty years. Nobody wants surgery mid-season, and we never ask for it. Guulf is built to run beside whatever you have, and there is exactly one rule.
A slot with one owner can never double-book. Which slots belong to which system is your call — and you can change it any time, in either direction.
What never changes
- Your till is your till. Point of sale and payments are untouched: you are the merchant of record, money settles to your account, and we never touch it.
- Your golfers get the free app either way. GPS rangefinder, scorecard, leaderboards — free to them from day one, whether or not a single booking moves.
- Your data stays yours. Bring your booking sheet over with a simple export whenever you want your numbers in one place — we never reach into your other system.
The three ways courses run it
| Stage | Who sells tee times | What Guulf does |
|---|---|---|
| Start here | Your current system sells every tee time, exactly as today. | Everything around the book: the free golfer app, your roster and marketing, deals, leagues, the owner dashboard. Import your sheet so the numbers are real. |
| Split the book | Each slot has one owner. A common split: online bookings and league nights through Guulf; phone and walk-ins at the counter, as today. | The desk blocks each system's windows out of the other. Takes a little discipline; works fine. |
| One book | Guulf sells every tee time. | Your old system shrinks to the till — keep it as your point of sale for as long as you like. |
Most courses start on the first row. Moving down is one conversation, not a project — and moving back up is allowed too.
The question that picks your row
Ask the person who answers your phone:
"When somebody calls for a tee time, where do you want to write it — one place or two?"
Their answer is your row. In our experience they decide faster than anyone.
And it's in the agreement, in plain words
Our service agreement puts this in writing: nothing requires you to stop using, reduce, or migrate away from any other system · no minimum usage — a quiet month costs nothing extra and breaks nothing · you choose which system owns bookings, and you can change your mind · we never write into your other system · and there is no obligation to ever migrate at all.
